THE SHOPPING MALL.... ☺
In the hustle and bustle
around me, within me,
sometimes, it frightens the
fragile and tumultuous 'me'.
The made-up faces,
the plastic smiles,
a faceless crowd,
miles after miles.
Yes,
the same eyeliners,
the same dresses,
identically decked up
with straightened tresses.
Some silent whispers,
a couple holding hands,
an arguing couple,
spending thousands.
I rather enjoy
my coffee at the stall,
watching the circus
at the shopping mall.
The made-up faces,
the plastic smiles,
a faceless crowd,
miles after miles.
